New York, NY – AppCard Inc., the leading personalized marketing, shopper analytics and digital coupons provider to independent grocers, announced today the release of its new AI driven smart App.
Designed and developed to meet shopping experience in the era of the “New Normal”, the new AppCard mobile platform offers a seamless and contactless touchpoint for shoppers to manage their account, view discounts, clip coupons, automatically log all digital receipts and engage with their grocer.
Updated with a new and intuitive UI, the new AppCard mobile platform is free, feature-rich and easy-to-use. It can be downloaded from both the Apple Appstore and Android Marketplace. In participating stores, shoppers will occasionally be prompted to download the app after shopping in their favorite store or when joining the retailer’s rewards and digital coupons program.
The introduction of Digital Coupons is the key enhancement in this release, as digital coupon clipping was previously limited to a desktop web browser, email or in-lane experience. In the new smart app, shoppers can view and clip hundreds of digital coupons from leading manufacturers such as P&G and General Mills, as well as coupons from local CPGs and store provided offers. This affords the shopper the convenience of planning ahead and even browsing and clipping additional savings while they are in the store.
In this new platform, the other elements we strove to emphasize were control, transparency and personalization.
Control – Provide the shopper with full control on his/her account profile including California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) opt-out support.
Transparency – Provide a completely transparent and fully branded experience from the user’s preferred grocer by providing the user with a complete summary of their status in the store’s rewards program including: loyalty program updates, points balances, spend goals required to unlock a new reward and more. In addition, AppCard automatically builds a digital receipt repository, allowing the shopper to always know what they bought, when they bought it and how many points they earned or redeemed during that purchase.
Personalized – Powered by our PINKY AI engine, we only display offers that are relevant to each user and coupons personalized based on his/her past purchase history as well as predicted future purchases. This update also filters coupon offers so that offers are only shown for items the store actually carries in inventory.
What else is new?
Aside from the improved UI and UX and the complete redesign, coupon and CCPA support, the new AppCard app also features dark and light mode support based on your phone’s settings. This release also offers complete support for both English and Spanish, making it easier to connect with all your shoppers.
