This October, AppCard launched a campaign to promote usage of social media in advertising for stores. Stores were encouraged to enter by posting their latest and greatest sales and promotions on social media (most used Facebook or Instagram) with a creative photo, video, or graphic. Winners were chosen for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Winners were chosen based on relevance to the AppCard platform, creativity, and number of likes. We saw many incredible entries. It was so hard to choose the winners! Ultimately, these were the winners of our first #FunWithAppCard social media competition:
We loved Chester’s creative inclusion of a pumpkin pie recipe in their graphic. The promotion offered double points on the ingredients necessary for the pumpkin pie. What a great way to boost sales and keep shoppers happy!
Saubel’s turkey promotion was perfect to transition into the Thanksgiving season! Many entries were focused on Halloween, so Saubel’s Thanksgiving-themed promotion stood out among the rest.
Jensen’s Point Loma’s entry was simply brie-licious! We loved their creative video of a fall-themed baked brie appetizer highlighting their cheese promotion.
Long’s Pic Pac went above and beyond the competition. Their video entries used fun storytelling, costumes, and friendly faces to highlight their AppCard promotions. Their creativity and enthusiasm secured their first place spot.
We’d like to extend a special thank you to all those who participated in the competition. We’re looking forward to what you come up with next time!
