  • Customer Success Team LeadNew York, NY (On-site)

    AppCard is looking for a business oriented, tech savvy Customer Success Manager to deliver loyalty marketing solutions to our clients. This role will allow you to position our industry leading products and execute data-driven marketing strategies to our largest clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Train clients on how to use the AppCard platform
    • Serve as a trusted consultant with clients to optimize their loyalty and marketing strategy
    • Become a product expert in the AppCard platform to best leverage AppCard’s product offering
    • Monitor usage and product adoption, proactively contact clients to deliver coaching/training to improve their utilization
    • Understand how to build and present AppCard’s value using data and insights
    • Drive growth within existing clients, identify upsell opportunities and generate new revenue
    • Understand, adapt to, and help build AppCard’s ongoing product and technology developments
    • Develop and execute data-driven campaigns and in-store promotions
    • Assist clients with basic troubleshooting on various software and hardware issues that may arise
    • Work cross-functionally with implementation, development, finance, tech support, product and marketing
    • Manage a team of 3-5 CSM

    Requirements

  • Sales Development RepresentativeNew York, NY (On-Site)

    The Sales Development Representative (SDR) should be a self starting and goal oriented individual. An ideal candidate is a quick learner, hard-worker and has strong organizational skills. Success in the role will require adherence to a specific administrative process but will also require candidates to think quickly as their prospecting efforts will require the ability to tailor conversations to a diverse set of grocery professionals in a variety of geographies across the United States. The successful candidate will be able to create opportunities and start the sales process leading to contract signing and entry into the company CRM (Salesforce).

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure that sales targets are met each month.
    • Prospect for new Grocery stores to pitch AppCard’s suite of products and functionality.
    • Develop a deep understanding of the Grocery industry.

  • Senior Backend Tech Lead (Java/Python)Hod HaSharon, Center District, Israel (On-site)

    We are looking for a Senior Backend Tech Lead to join our infrastructure team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain backend systems to drive product scalability and performance. You will work with a range of technologies, including Java, Python, SQL, REST APIs, and cloud services, with deployments in both cloud and on-prem environments. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to build new features and optimize existing systems to meet business demands.

    Responsibilities:

    • Own and maintain core backend services that support millions of daily operations
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features using Agile methodologies
    • Ensure backend infrastructure is scalable and efficient, leveraging cloud services for server deployment
    • Optimize system performance for both cloud and on-prem deployments

    Requirements:

    • 10+ years of experience with Java and Python; prior Tech Lead experience is required
    • Proven experience in developing and supporting high-scale systems
    • Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and server deployment
    • Experience with on-premise deployments is a plus
    • Strong background in working with large database environments, preferably PostgreSQL

    Responsibilities

    • Define the product vision and strategy, specifically focusing on partner integrations, ensuring alignment with company goals and technical feasibility
    • Develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on business needs, partner requirements, and technical capabilities
    • Oversee the execution of integration projects, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely and successful delivery

    • Strong technical background, with relevant experience as a programmer, and the ability to understand and contribute to discussions on architecture, infrastructure, and technical design
    • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource allocation
    • Experience with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, breaking down large projects into smaller tasks, grooming, estimating, backlog management, and working with development teams
    • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in industries such as cloud platforms, enterprise software, or SaaS environments
    • Experience with retail integrations, particularly with Point of Sale (POS) systems
